The official festival page describes a town wide event involving local businesses and venues, so visitors should expect activity beyond the main street listing.

The festival follows BAZfest in 2025 and is being put together by the Mount Victoria Business Association, Mount Victoria Community Association, Mount Victoria Public School and its P&C.

For costumers, the practical attraction is a contest scheduled for 12.30pm. An official festival graphic confirms the date and time, but publicly accessible details about categories, conditions and entry deadlines were not available when checked. The graphic includes a QR code for further entry information.

Organisers are also inviting creators, artists and performers to host pop ups, sell work or perform during the festival. Participation information is available through the festival website.

The strongest retrofuturist connection comes at 2pm, when Mount Vic Flicks screens Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Doors open at 1.30pm, when live music is also due to begin. The cinema says the session will include a theatre organ performance during the interval and finish at 4.45pm, after the festival’s listed 4pm closing time.

Mount Vic Flicks lists admission at $20 and $18, plus a booking fee, and recommends booking.
