Historical kit, artisan work, living history and elaborate protective equipment should interest plenty of costumers and makers around Newcastle and the Hunter.<\/p>\n<p>The announced program includes medieval combat, swordplay demonstrations, LARP activities and a buhurt tournament. Buhurt is full contact combat conducted in armour with blunted weapons, making it rather more committed than the average public park sword demonstration. Armoured combat club the Knights of Albion also lists the festival on its 2026 events calendar.<\/p>\n<p>For those who prefer craft to concussions, the ticketing page lists an artisan village, living history displays, market stalls and food stalls. The organiser has also scheduled a cannon firing at midday.<\/p>\n<p>Gates open at 10 am on both days and all ages are welcome. The organiser\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/e\/2PACX-1vRQcZ1bbICG81YmKp3fbXHS_xDB6T0CUaer_RY2_VgU1nS-t4D6Hn0gI-dkvuDplQggDp2W4gBSD3h5\/pub\">event FAQ<\/a> describes the site as mostly flat grass with some paved paths. Standard and accessible toilets are available. Companion Card holders receive free entry when accompanying the person they support.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/feverup.com\/m\/609653?preview=547cfe5f\">Fever currently lists Saturday tickets<\/a> at $30 for adults, $25 for concession holders or students, $15 for children under 16, and $85 for a family of two adults and up to two children under 16. Entry is free for children under 10.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday tickets and weekend passes are also offered, but readers should check the live booking page for current prices. The organiser\u2019s FAQ says tickets may also be purchased at the gate, subject to the event\u2019s operating arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>This will be the festival\u2019s third edition at Foreshore Park, following events in 2024 and 2025.
