Before you start promoting your event, make sure people can actually find your Facebook Page.<\/p>\n

Facebook lets you create a custom username<\/strong> for your Page. Your username becomes the simple web address you can put on posters, flyers, websites and advertisements.<\/p>\n

How to create your Facebook Page username<\/h3>\n

On a computer:<\/p>\n

  1. Log into Facebook.<\/li>\n

    <\/p>\n

  2. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner.<\/li>\n

  3. Select See all profiles<\/strong> and switch into your event or organisation's Page.<\/li>\n

  4. Click the Page profile picture.<\/li>\n

  5. Go to Settings & privacy \u2192 Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n

  6. Select Page setup<\/strong>.<\/li>\n

  7. Open Name<\/strong>.<\/li>\n

  8. Under General Page Settings<\/strong>, find Username<\/strong> and click Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n

  9. Enter the username you want and save it.<\/li>\n

    Changing the username also changes the Page's Facebook web address.<\/p>\n
