About this work
“Tiger Said” is an acrylic painting on canvas created in 2025. The work belongs to a larger series of seven paintings based on an original fairy tale I wrote, in which each painting functions as a chapter of the same visual narrative. I developed the characters, setting and symbolism through painting, using theatrical composition and an imagined world where familiar and unfamiliar elements coexist. Rather than illustrating the story literally, I wanted the painting to feel like a moment taken from a larger tale, leaving space for the viewer to interpret the characters, their relationships and what may happen beyond the scene.
