International Steampunk Art Prize 2026

This original handmade work depicts an abstract blue creature emerging through fluid, gestural forms. It was created on A3 watercolor paper using watercolor paint, graphite and colored pencils. Layered washes, drips and drawn marks create a sense of movement and transformation, allowing the figure to exist between organic life, anatomy and invention. The process combines controlled drawing with spontaneous watercolor gestures, preserving visible traces of the artist’s hand. The work invites viewers to imagine the creature’s origin and the world it inhabits.
