International Steampunk Art Prize 2026

This sculptural artwork is a celebration of imagination, texture and transformation. Using discarded machine parts, gears, chains, wire, metal mesh, flexible tubing and assorted salvaged objects, I have assembled a collection of forgotten pieces into something entirely new. Rich copper and bronze tones, accented with turquoise patina, create an aged, industrial appearance. Layered textures and intricate details invite the viewer to look closer and discover the unexpected. I work instinctively, allowing the materials to guide the creative process rather than following a predetermined plan. Each component has a past life, but together they take on a new identity. My work reflects my fascination with finding beauty and possibility in things others might discard, transforming forgotten objects into art with character, depth and a life of its own.
