Spy fiction, historical horror, an airship murder mystery and four volumes of erudite vampires. He has spent a career building worlds out of the nineteenth century and then breaking them.
Four volumes, beginning with A Monster's Coming of Age Story. Vengeance, love and redemption beyond the limits of mortality, in the company of madness, murder, hidden cults and erudite vampires. Currently in development for television.

He is also Chairman of the Advisory Board of Writers and Artists Across the Country, a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating author visits to underserved schools — which is to say he spends a good deal of his time making sure that children who would not otherwise meet a working writer get to meet one.
