Creating good Facebook graphics does not need to be difficult or expensive.

Steampunk Australia maintains a shared PowerPoint graphics folder containing templates and examples that can be adapted for Facebook posts, event promotions and Facebook hero images.

PowerPoint is a surprisingly useful tool for creating simple promotional graphics. You can change the text, replace photographs, move elements around and export the finished slide as a JPG or PNG ready to upload to Facebook.

Share Your Templates With Others

If you create a PowerPoint presentation or template that other steampunk organisers might find useful, we encourage you to email it to Steampunk Australia.

We will add suitable contributions to the shared folder so other clubs, festivals, artists, makers and event organisers can use them as a starting point for their own promotions.

The idea is simple: instead of every organiser starting from scratch, we can share what works and make promoting steampunk events easier for everyone.
