Steampunk.au is a marketplace of independent Australian makers. Each maker creates, packs and posts their own work, so shipping is arranged by the individual shop you buy from — not by a central warehouse.
When you buy from a shop, that maker fulfils and posts your order directly. If your basket includes pieces from more than one maker, each is sent separately and may arrive at different times.
Shipping costs and timeframes vary by maker, by the size and fragility of the piece, and by where it’s going. Any shipping charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
If a maker provides tracking, they’ll pass the details on to you. The quickest way to check on an order is to contact the shop directly — their email, phone or WhatsApp is on their storefront.
Some makers ship overseas. Customs duties or import taxes in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility and aren’t included in the price or shipping shown at checkout.
If your order is delayed, lost or arrives damaged, contact the maker first — they’ll put it right. If you can’t reach them, get in touch with us and we’ll help.
Because each maker sets their own terms, the shop you’re buying from may have its own shipping details — always have a look on their storefront.
